MadeOn Hard Lotion Giveaway CLOSED

I am excited to share a unique and wonderful product with you…Hard Lotion!!! I had heard of it, but never tried it. When Renee emailed me I was thrilled to be able to try it out and share with my readers! I do not suffer from dry skin myself so I can’t speak on that, but I was very impressed with this strange little lotion bar! It comes in a cute little tin as shown above and honestly looks like a bar of soap! I have been using it on my heels at night and love it. I personally don’t like how it feels on my hands but I can imagine someone who suffers from dry cracked skin would love it. I am anxious for my husband and PacMan to try it out in the winter months as they both suffer from severe dry skin.

What exactly is hard lotion & why did Renee begin making it?

Hard lotion is lotion that is solid at room temperature. It is designed to specifically protect hands and feet from cracked skin and extreme dry skin. Ingredients are shea butter, coconut oil and beeswax. It also relieves skin that suffers from eczema and psoriasis. Renee began making it when she was searching for a recipe online that could help her cracked fingers that hurt from frequent hand-washing, and heels that split every summer from walking barefoot. The business took off in 2010 and now her husband joins her full-time in running the business while raising and homeschooling their 8 children in Northern California.

Renee also sent me the lip balm to test out and I am in LOVE with the peppermint flavor! The lip balm is a bit trickier to find on the website, look for this near the bottom of the home page: image

They also make diaper rash cream, goat milk soap, and hair butter. They look amazing!!! You can even do it yourself with much help from Renee’s tutorials! There’s also a blog filled with amazing information. I love natural products and this website was a gem to find!

    I think this would be great for my son who has eczema. Dr solutions seem to be medication and most creams are not effective. I definitely need the hair butter, course hair and the South do not mix. Thanks! thepodgers at gmail

    I suffer from psorasis on my feet soles, sides of my feet which causes the skin to split and bleed, making walking difficult at times. I also have it on the shins, but have never found anything to work effectively in relieving the soles of my feet. I would love to try this product. Thanks

    During certain times during the year my hands get so dry that they crack open, right now due to wearing flip flops so much out here in AZ my heels are a mess - hard and cracking, all of our lips get dried out or sun burned, and my little man also has dry skin patches.     I have extremely dry and cracked feet. This began after I had my 5 yr old daughter but I have tried everything and I have not found anything to do the trick in fact they seem to be getting worse! My kids also have very dry skin and I haven't found an effective all natural product, one that doesn't have a petroleum based ingredient! Can't wait to try it!

    Hello, I've just looked into making my own as well and would really be blessed to win this and try it out. I'm trying a recipe I found for dry skin which uses 4 oz. cocoa butter, sesame oil, olive oil, coconut oil, and a little water, and bees wax. Natural is the way to go! Praise God!

    My family all suffer from wintery cracked and ouchy skin. The summer is better except I have dry cracked feet and our 16 month old had many dry spots throughout the year and worse in winter that we would like to relieve. In search of a natural remedy! Praise God!

    I would love to win this not only for myself but for my two boys who also suffer from Eczema. I have tried so many things and if this would help I would love to try it. My eldest gets it really badly around his mouth and tends to lick it and make it worse. I am constantly putting chap stick on that he doesn't link and it doesn't help all that much.

    I have very dry patches on my feet; the hard lotion would be perfect for me! I also have dry hair, and I plan on ordering the hair butter - sounds like a fabulous product!
