Featuring Squishy Tushy...CLOSED

I can't say enough wonderful things about Squishy Tushy!!! When I decided I wanted to try cloth diapering with Ladybug, I was scouring the internet for a site to order from and let me tell you-- there are tons out there! Somehow I stumbled upon this site and happened to go to her About page and I decided right then that I wanted to try ordering from Teresa. The fact that she had Free Shipping with orders over $35 helped too!

I placed my first order, which you can read all about here and patiently waited for them to arrive. Teresa was SO wonderful to work with and was super patient with me when I messed up my order! She gladly fixed it for me and it arrived in just a couple of days!!!

I have since ordered from her 5 more times and every time her customer service has been superb, literally getting replies to my order and/or questions within minutes of placing it sometimes!!! I have felt like I was working with a friend from day one!!

She even has an awesome referral program, that give the new customer AND the existing customer a credit!!! If you tell her I sent you, we BOTH get money to use for future orders! Squishy Tushy carries many items beyond cloth diapers, so even if you don't use cloth, check out what else she has to offer!

Teresa has generously offered to give away 1 brand new bumGenius Organic AIO cloth diaper in honor of Ladybug!!!!

Ladybug wears the original bumGenius one-size diapers which we love too, but she recently has been testing out the new organic AIO diaper and we love it also! It is different from the original in a few ways...

1-It has snaps instead of velcro.
2-It is all in one instead of a pocket diaper, and it is organic.
3-It is MUCH more trim fitting (less bulky).

This diaper did leak on me the first few times, BUT I realized it was because of my own error! You have to pre wash/prep these diapers about 3-6 times before they reach their maximum absorbency. Now that I did that, it has never leaked!!! You can read my more detailed review of the diaper itself here on my Lil' Ladybug blog.

If you'd like to win this awesome diaper (you choose the color and snaps/velcro option) you can enter by doing the following...

Visit Squishy Tushy and leave a comment here telling what color is your favorite.

After you do that, you can gain some extra entries by any of the following, remember to leave an extra comment for each item so they will count as entries...

  1. If you have a baby who is already wearing cloth diapers (or a baby on the way who will be in cloth), give yourself an extra entry (this is an honor thing, please don't lie).
  2. If your baby is already wearing cloth, tell me what your favorite cloth diaper is in a comment for an extra entry!
  3. If you have a baby in cloth, go here and read this post, and leave me a comment over there with any advice on the diapers I am wanting to try! If you leave a comment over there-come back here to get an extra entry!
  4. If you will take a photo of your baby and write a post on your blog about your win and Squishy Tushy, give yourself an extra entry (also an honor thing).
  5. If you place an order with Squishy Tushy anytime between now and Sept 12, and Teresa can verify this (by you giving her my name as a referral), give yourself an extra entry here!
  6. If you Follow/Subscribe to Lil' Ladybug give yourself an extra entry (go here and look on the right sidebar for subscriber info).
This Giveaway is open for US only!

I will select a winner using Random.org, so be sure you leave a separate comment for each entry, I will also be moderating comments to check that your entries are valid-please be honest!

Contest ENDS September 13, 2009. Winner will be announced here, and emailed (your email MUST be in each comment/or enabled in blogger). Winner must reply to my email within 48 hours or another winner will be chosen.

  1. I use Mother-ease one-size with Thirsties or mother-ease covers. I also bought pre-folds from Green Mountain when my little girl was a newborn. So would love to try a new brand!

  4. We cloth diaper as well. In fact you re-inspired me to give it a try again once my 2nd was born. My first is back in them again as well.

    ReplyDelete
  5. My favorite diapers are either the plain chinese prefold or the Cloth-eez Prefold fittede Diaper. Using them with the snappies really helps! I like the Thirsties wraps. I have some AIO's that I use from time to time.

  6. I would certainly take a picture and post about it if I won. I have been wanting to post about cloth diapers again anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I have been following Lil'Ladybug since she was born since our little ones are so close in age.

  14. Our favorite brand for nighttime is the bumGenius pocket diaper.
Our favorite brand for daytime is now gDiapers, they have cloth inserts now and flushable/biodegradable inserts for when we travel, which happens a lot.

  15. My LO is on her way out of diapers, but I still use a cloth diaper at naptime. (I have not found one that does not leak at night!)

I use Kushies AIO and Happy Heiny's pocket diapers. I also use Happy Heiney's cloth pull-ups!

I have heard a lot about bum genius! I love that it grows with them!

    ReplyDelete
  16. I answered my favorite in the above comment, but will add that I also like using Pro Wraps and Indian Prefolds - they are super absorbent (as is the hemp liners). My favorite is the Happy Heiney pocket diaper, though.

Do you need to use a fleece liner with these? I have to with the Kushies to protect their skin.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I would probably photograph Eliana wearing her diaper for a nap! She is doing well with potty training (another good reason to use cloth!)

    ReplyDelete
  18. I have a baby due in a little over a month that I plan on cloth diapering.

    ReplyDelete

  37. For my 6 month old we mostly use prefolds & BSWW covers, but go with bumGenius 3.0 when we're out. I get sick of stuffing pockets and can't really afford much more than prefolds & covers with a 5 pockets. I also love how durable the prefolds are because I'm not always kind to my diaper laundry.

I do like Trendy Tush (WAHM dipe) also. I started out with bumgenious (with my son - he's three now) and I did love those a lot. I sold them when we potty learned and ended up getting prefolds due to breastfed baby poop being a big leak factor. Now, I wish I had kept them!

If I won this I would definitely pass it along to other CDers I know to borrow (I'd want it back if GOD blesses us with #2)

    ReplyDelete
  136. We love Mother-Ease one size diapers and snap covers!

  138. We do cloth...but I'll be honest that I've been using disposables lately because Noah got a rash from the cloth, I have other's caring for him while I'm in class for a few hours a day, and I guess I just got lazy:( But I am DETERMINED to start back! I miss them, as silly as that may sound! So yup..starting tomorrow, I'm starting cloth over:)
