When Tara, from Life is Art emailed me I was so thankful! She sent me a beautiful gift for our home, simply as a kind gesture. She let me choose a print and even had it framed for me!!! I was in love with this print and it is hanging beautifully on my dining room wall…IMG_6780

A bit about Life is Art

Tara and her husband work in ministry as house parents for troubled teens. They are also the parents of 3 small children and 1 on the way! Their dream is to homeschool their children! Tara’s husband {and sometimes Tara} takes the photographs and Tara edits them and creates the final images which end up in Life is Art! This small business adventure is a way to help bring in extra finances while honoring God at the same time.

I pray you will check out Tara’s website and see if there is a piece of art she and her husband have created that would fit perfectly in your home or as a gift for someone you love! Supporting the business adventures of others who work in ministry is a passion of mine! You can see links for the different pieces of artwork that are available on their site here or see how to request a custom print here.

Which was then renovated to a MUCH fancier version as you can see!IMG_9148

The little ones enjoyed them also, making airplanes and butterflies. ;-)  IMG_9108  IMG_9109

We also sorted by color, lined them up to make a long train and have played with them many times since this day!  The price is great for this set and they are a wonderful addition to any child’s building supplies!

Flag Page ~ Review & Giveaway CLOSED

Congratulations #114 Hailey-You Won!!!

image

I was introduced to the Kids Flag Page while at Relevant this past October. I wasn’t sure exactly what it was but was very curious! I was given a free copy to review, just knowing Pac Man would love it! We had a nice time together working through the process, and he enjoyed the 1 on 1 time the most.

He was a tad bit upset that it wasn’t a game {he had seen the box and got confused!} but once he got over that, he enjoyed the process!

I enjoyed reading the book, especially the portions specific to his Home Country {Peace} and Adopted Country {Fun}. Although some of it seemed off to me, the parts that were ON really touched my heart and honestly convicted me in some areas. He and I are not the same and I struggle with that often. I adore him, but I need to do a better job being sensitive to him and his unique personality. Although I did not complete a page for myself, I believe I would be the exact opposite of him-Control and Perfection! We are a mess of a combination, but we love each other dearly and that’s what matters most!

Here’s a photo of his completed page {with his name left off}IMG_1249

When Krash gets old enough, I plan to do it with him too ~ he is a bit too all over the place to even consider it right now! ;-)

Here is what is included in the entire kit, everything you need to complete a Flag Page for up to 3 children, and the book to go with it. It really is a neat process and I am really glad we had the opportunity to do this.
