For those of you who do not know, I am a former Kindergarten teacher and I have an early childhood education degree. Teaching young kiddos is my speciality and I love it! When Tara from Itty Bitty Bookworm offered to send me both the Bo and Bailey curriculum to review I was thrilled! I have heard a lot about it and was very curious!
The CD arrived, containing an entire year's worth for both age groups and I began browsing through it all. Without being long-winded, I will tell you that this is an extremely developmentally appropriate program, which exposes young kids to the joys of early literacy. I was beyond impressed with the many resources offered. It gives you everything you need, besides the books themselves (which you can easily find at the library!). It is thorough not only in the lessons themselves bu also in educating you, the teacher/parent, about young children. It was basically my college education all wrapped up in a nice little package!!!
The curriculum is written for a group setting so it does take some minor adapting for a homeschooling mom, but it worked fine for us! The books featured are wonderful, and I had a hard time choosing 1 to work with for our review!
Krash is 3, I knew I could choose from either program, so I decided on Is Your Mama a Llama (from Bo, year 1, February) and chose a few of the activities to do for our Tot School time, which ended up including Pac Man too since it was fun and artsy! This was an awesome activity and one I would have never thought of on my own! We made silhouette paintings using templates provided on the CD, for each animal in the book!
It was a fun activity and we have done a few others too and will certainly be doing more! The Cd's we have now are FULL of great ideas and book extensions. I am so excited to have this awesome resource for our homeschool.
Tara has generously offered to give one of my readers an entire year's worth of either the Bo (ages 3-5) or the Bailey(18-36 mos) curriculum!!!! This is a $300 value!!!!

«Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 412 Newer› Newest»I would really like this curriculum because in about 3 months, I am going to become a stay-at-home mom for the first time, mainly so that I can begin homeschooling my 2-year-old. A program like this would really help me to jumpstart this new life plan for my children. I could also use it in the future for my daughter, now a newborn. I would choose the Bo program, as my son will be 3 in July and we could start right up.

I've heard a LOT of great things about Itty Bitty Bookworm, and have wanted to try it, but we just don't have $30 a month to spend on curriculum right now. I was hoping to be able to save up a bit and try next year. My little man LOVES to read, and he can get really into his stories. I'm thinking that the extra activities would be really exciting for him.
We would use the Bo curriculum.

I would love the Bailey curriculum. I've been looking for something to work with my one year old in a few months and this sounds like a good fit. I love working with books and we love to read around here. I've looked at this curriculum before and have been waiting to get the money together to purchase some lessons.

I would choose the Bailey curriculum. I have a 21 month old and I want to homeschool her from the start. I am slowly gathering ideas and activities and this would be a valuable addition to our curriculum!
This would be very fun to win because we LOVE to read books, and typically read the same book for at least a week (per FIAR curriculum!). If we won, we would want the Bo material because it would fit both Mr. Smackdown and Mr. Me-Too's ages!

I have a little boy that just turned 5 that is not ready for Kindergarten and this would be great. I always need ideas to expand the books that we are reading.
I have heard so many good things about this curriculum...it really does sound like it would be something our family could really benefit from...but which one to choose...decisions, decisions, I will probably lean towards the Bo curriculum.

I'd love to try this with my girls, still deciding about hs'ing. Probably Bo since my DD is nearing 3 but I'd try Bailey too given the chance since she isn't three yet and her younger sister is growing fast.
Hi,
I would love to be entered in to the drawing. I currently have the September Bailey Curriculum and just started today with my daughter. I am loving it so far. It's very user friendly for a mom has no background in child education or organizational skills. If I am chosen I would love the Bo curriculum.

I am homeschooling 3. A 6 yr old, 3 yr old and well sort of schooling a 2 yr old(sometimes I think she is schooling me). I would choose the Bo. I think both would be great, but I probably could use bo for both the older boys and try and include little sis. Thanks so much.

I am planning on starting Tot School with my 2 little boys ( 1 1/2 & 2 1/2) in December. I've been pulling resources together (your blog Totally Tots has been a great help) and this would just be the icing on the cake. I think it would be a great resource to finish my curriculum!! Thanks for the chance to win :)
joshandmichelle6@live.com
I would love to win the Bo curriculum for my 3 year old! With 3 older siblings, she often gets lost in the crowd, and I would love to have a curriculum that would help me focus on her a little more. Especially one with as many good reviews as Itty Bitty Bookworm.
And I would definitely blog about winning if I won.
I would chose the Bailey because it is just about the perfect age level for my tot, who is 18 months as of tomorrow :) I have heard great things about this program from other homeschoolers that I know but as of right now don't have the 300 to spend on it. It would be great to get a chance to use it!!
I'd love to win the Bo curriculum! I have two that are in that age range!

I would love to have the Bailey curriculum. I have a 22 month old at home and a 4 1/2 year old. I also taught kindergarten and find it easier to work with my older son, but curriculum for younger tots is more challenging for me. Thanks for the chance to win!
I would love to win Bo for my daughters!
oh, I am excited about this one because I have been hearing about Itty Bitty from other bloggers. My little one is 2 1/2 so I would probably choose the Bo curriculum. What an amazing giveaway!

This would be a huge blessing to us. I enjoy doing learning activities with my son, but do not have a lot of time or extra money available. I have a 6-month old daughter and we are currently saving any extra income to use to pay for my husband to attend seminary. We would use the Bo curriculum as my son is 3 1/2 years old. Thank you for this opportunity to win! :)
I would love to win the Bo program! I currently homeschool my three daughters-an 8th grader, 1st grader and a 3.5 year old. Sadly, the two older are so time consuming, I haven't been able to work with my 3.5 year old as much as I'd like to. This program would fit our needs perfectly!

I would LOVE to win the BO curriculum for my 3 year old. We are considering homeschooling and are researching lots of curriculums out there. I would love the Bailey curriculum because I am currently staying home with almost 2 year old and I struggle with knowing types of activities that are developmentally important for his age. If he was 8 or 9, I would be good to go (I taught 3rd grade previously), but I am not to familiar with what toddlers should know and how to teach them.

I would love to win this because I am a homeschooling mom of a 3 1/2 year old and a 9 month old. My 3 1/2 year old is pretty advanced for her age academically and I need more resources to challenge her with! I would choose the Bo curriculum for her.

I'd love the Bo package, as my boy turns three on Saturday! We have so much fun learning at home! If I'm lucky enough to win I can be reached at ambernoel226 at gmail dot com
I would choose the Bailey (younger) curriculum. I desperately need this curriculum! I am a single adoptive parent to a 21 month old sweetie and I work from home. I need to be doing so much more in terms of learning for my daughter but I'm so disorganized and just never get my act together. This sounds like exactly what we need!
I am just amazed at your site every time I come!

I would choose Bo.
I would like to win this b/c my son LOVES books! We have story time many times thru the day. I used to teach preschool and I miss the structure of curriculum -and this looks like a perfect fit for my son and myself! I would choose Bailey -he just turned 2 last week!
